Here in Maryland, summer can get very humid and sticky. It’s essential to have a simple skincare routine that can stand up to the heat. My skincare goal is always to look glowing and youthful. My typical summer skincare routine on super hot days consists of a hydrating cleanser, hydrating mist, and a moisturizer. Lately, I have added the new Merlot Sunrise Serum to my routine.
This serum is lightweight enough for the summer but still provides enough hydration for my skin. Spending more time outdoors means more sweating so my skin needs all the hydration that it can get. After cleansing, I spray my favorite Vitamin C spray, apply the Sunrise Serum, let it sink into my skin for a couple of minutes, and follow up with my Merlot moisturizer. The serum locks in the moisture from the spray while provided my skin with two types of peptides that provide similar benefits to retinol as well as the antioxidants and resveratrol found in other Merlot Skin Care products.
This combination of products has allowed my skin to remain hydrating even after a day of leading a summer camp. Vitamin C in the spray focuses on the dark spots I often experience in the lower part of my face while the sunrise serum gently brightens and provides antiaging benefits.
The only negative experience I had with the product was that it has a slightly slippery feeling but after allowing it to dry down for about a minute the next skincare product lays down smoothly. If you follow up with a facial oil I would recommend letting the oil dry down completely a well. Let the glowy skin begin!

Love that it’s lightweight so perfect for my combination skin! And can’t live without Vitamin C!
I love the flowers. I’m not sure if my last comment posted but I’m going to give this serum a try. I recently discovered serum so I’m super late in the game.
