We women, especially Black women, often grow weary in a world that forgets to say our names in the fight for justice, in a world where statistically we are less likely to thrive if we even survive. Lately these have weighed down on me and sometimes it is tempting to stay in those valleys rather than climb to the heights of the hills in front of us.
