When I started Gechmeifyoucan I wanted a place to document my journey as I entered into my 30’s. Now almost three years later the focus of this blog is more to share my passions with the purpose of inspiring others. Life is short and too many of us are afraid to live it fully. In writing out my passions I also give myself permission to be bolder and live more fully. A lot has changed in the years since I started my blog, I still have a full-time and I am still a competitive powerlifter who loves to talk about anything from faith, to skin care regimens, to travel destinations. As a woman, I am many things but one amazing human all the same.

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
It means the celebration of the diversity of all types of women. Listening to the voices of women that are often ignored or forgotten. It’s a reminder to build up your network of strong women and to lift up women around you whose voices aren’t always heard.
What does being a member of Style Collective mean to you?
It’s been amazing to meet so many hard working women. These women are encouraging and creative and genuine. I love the positivity and amazing resources.
